Mainly Custom was started in 2003 as Southern Maine’s Authorized Wood Doctor, Sequoyah Paradise Outdoor and Biasi Indoor Wood Boiler Dealers. In addition, we have become distributors for Urecon Dual Pex Flex Underground Pipe and offer installation, technical support and excavation services.
We have always burned wood for heat and after extensive research, decided to invest in a Wood Doctor Outdoor Wood Boiler for ourselves. We have become energy independent. It heats our home, domestic water and a non-insulated 32 x 40 foot, two story shop, all from outside of the buildings, therefore eliminating all the mess from bark, sawdust, woodchips, smoke, bugs and most important, the fire hazard, inside the home. It was one of the best decisions we could have ever made! (You would not believe how comfortable it is to work in a well-heated shop during the Maine Winter months!) Given the high cost of fossil fuels today, being energy independent is a real blessing.

We pride ourselves on our ability to be more than just salespeople and we are the only dealers who transport, install and service boilers and furnaces, using licensed and insured technicians. In addition, for your convenience, Mainly Custom also carries a full line of parts for the self-installer.
We also offer site visits for our customers. Mainly Custom will carefully review your heating needs, placement of furnace and discuss the regulations that are in place. We will provide you with all the information you require for your overall investment. Technical advice and support is only a phone call away. Because Mainly Custom is a full service company, we will personally fire up your installed boiler the first time you operate it! Try having THAT service offered to you from a “sales person”!
Take time to visit us and see the many boiler options we can provide. For example, we can receive your boiler directly from the manufacturer, unload it using our equipment and then deliver and install it to you at your convenience. If preferred, we can also direct ship your boiler. However, we do NOT recommend it. If you purchase from a dealer who only “direct ships”, you, the customer, are fully responsible for unloading the boiler off of the tractor trailer truck, arranging for excavation, installation and system testing. Since all of these services are provided by Mainly Custom, you are saved the aggravation of dealing with the cost of multiple contractors.
That's why we say,“One Call Does It All!” Of course, should you wish to do the installation by yourself, Mainly Custom will gladly load your boiler unto your heavy duty trailer (trailer minimum load weight, 2 tons). Even then, remember that technical advice and support is only a phone call away!
